Wait. No!,’” Chewy told WSOC-TV after the man told him and others, “You guys want to see something awesome?”“The awning had a little bit of rain on it, so it was almost like a slip and slide,” Chewy added. “He thought it was a Carowinds ride.” Witnesses were flabbergasted when they saw him perform the stunt.“He slid, coming down about 15 mph, and slid right into the valet lane,” Alan Neblett said, WSOC-TV reported. “He came down and landed right here on the windshield of the vehicle,” Neblett added.Photos taken from the scene show a Lexus model with a smashed windshield.“I’ve seen a number of things, but I’ve never seen anybody slide down this and into the street onto a vehicle, never in my entire life,” Neblett noted.He said a valet was moving the SUV when Freudenberg landed on it.“I really thought he actually wasn’t going to make it,” Neblett said. “I actually thank God that he is OK.”“God bless him. Man, slow down on the drinking, man. Quit drinking,” Neblett said.After the stunt, Freudenberg flexed his muscles.“No regard for anyone’s safety except for, ‘I want to prove to myself,’” Chewy added.Freudenberg posted bail after he was arrested.
