The Institute of MotorIndustry (IMI) initiative will allow candidates taking National and ScottishVocational Qualifications to be tested on their knowledge and diagnostic skillsin a range of disciplines online. It is the second of a projected 15 centres to be opened acrossthe UK. The training will be open to anyone seeking employment and is expectedto bring more than 300 skilled people into the workforce over the next 10months.Cross-Channelstaff taught to parler françaisMorethan 250 employees have signed up for free French lessons at Dover-based ferryoperator P&O Stena Line.
