SiriusXM Jam On has been live streaming from Mountain Jam all weekend long, interspersing their musical streams with interview and exclusive content. One such piece made its way onto the SiriusXM YouTube account, where Jam On host Ari Fink talks with Chris Robinson about the first time meeting Warren Haynes.Obviously a central figure to Mountain Jam, Haynes and Robinson first crossed paths during The Allman Brothers Band’s MTV Unplugged show in 1990. Haynes had recognized Robinson from his work in the Black Crowes, and introduced him to Gregg Allman who was apparently getting “his hair combed for an hour.” According to Robinson’s story, Haynes introduced Chris Robinson, and Allman responded, “Who gives a shit?”Watch the full story below.Of course, the moral of the story is that Haynes and Robinson have been friends ever since, and Robinson praises Haynes for “living and breathing the music.” That’s what it’s all about!
Police say 55-year-old James Sellers of Binghamton was found dead at the scene. They say Sellers was laying on a sidewalk with stab wounds just outside of the location. They say Williams was located at the scene later. The police department told 12 News in a press release that Williams and Sellers had a domestic relationship. The Binghamton Police Department says 30-year-old Shalace Williams of Binghamton was arrested and charged with murder in the second degree, a class A2 felony. BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Authorities have made an arrest into a fatal-stabbing investigation Thursday night. The police department says officers were called to a report of a “dispute with injuries” at 111 Eldredge St. Binghamton authorities say this was not a random act of violence and there is no threat to the public.
